our GOALS
Kids Place preschool in West Roseville is designed to enrich the lives of our children. We are dedicated to providing a positive, safe, loving environment where the children can play, learn, and grow.
We provide hands on learning activities, opportunities for social interaction between peers, and a variety of learning opportunities including, but not limited to, art projects, science, cooking, music. The children will learn about letters, numbers, patterns, sequencing, counting, etc.
our PROGRAM
3 year old program from 9:00-12:00 every Tuesday & Thursday.
4 year old program from 9:00-12:00 every Monday, Wednesday, & Friday.
Our school year starts at the end of August and runs through the end of May. Registration begins in March for Fall enrollment. Waitlist families will be contacted 1st.
Each day, we have storytime, outside play, sharing, writing practice, a concept game or activity, circle time, and music.
Field Trips: We have a monthly field trip for both classes to such places as: The Magic Circle theater, Bounce U, Sacramento Zoo, Leatherbys, Skatetown, Health & Safety Fair, Bishops Pumpkin Patch, etc.

Kids place is a structured environment, where we have a daily routine. Times vary based on the activities planned for the day.
9-9:20 Table Time (writing practice, coloring pages, cutting strips, Concept worksheets
9:20-9:50 Circle Time (storytime, calendar, letter sounds, counting, music)
9:50-10:20 Arts and Crafts/ Free Play (children rotate in small groups for art projects and free play)
10:20-10:50 Games/ Concept Activities (puzzles, cooking, science, sorting and counting objects)
10:50-10:55 Clean up
10:55-11:10 Sharing
11:10-11:30 Lunch
11:30-11:55 Outside Play
11:55-12:00 Circle Time (Letter/ Music review)

Children are naturally curious and eager to learn. Children want to touch, see, taste, smell, and hear things around them. We hope that as your child attends the Kids Place, he or she will master the important readiness skills that will help them to see the world with confidence and a happy heart.

Miss Jenn:
Is a mother of two boys who are 13 and 11. Before marriage, Miss Jenn was a nanny for children in two different families over the course of 2 ½ years. She has an Associates Degree from Sierra College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Sacramento State University. She has been running this preschool and teaching for the past 8 years. She is a concert pianist and have been teaching piano for the past ten years. She volunteers in her older son’s special education class and have been involved in doing an in-home therapy program for him. She also has served on the PTA Board as treasurer, at her younger son’s elementary school. She has served on the School Site Council as well. With both of her children in school she loves using her degree and having the opportunity to work with young children again.
Miss Christi:
Before marriage, Miss Christi was a nanny for 5 years. She attended Sierra College and earned her Associates Degree. She then transferred to Humboldt State, earning a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in speech. After school, she taught for Merryhill and Knowledge Beginnings, and then eventually opened up her own small daycare. Today she is a mother of 2 girls, ages 5 and 8. She is an art docent for both girls classes, and a girl scout leader for both girls troops. This is her 3rd year teaching with Miss Jenn, and she is loving every minute of it!
